Text, Date and Logic Functions
Text functions slice by position: LEFT from the left, RIGHT from the right, MID from the middle; TRIM removes outer spaces. Date functions YEAR/MONTH/DAY extract parts. Logic functions IF/AND/OR make decisions.

Logic

AND is true only if all are true; OR if any is true.
