How to Study N4 Grammar
N4 grammar is not about Chinese meanings but about which form connects and when to use it. Put patterns into examples, compare near-synonyms (ので/から, のに/ても), and write your own sentences.
Three steps
Connection: masu, ta, te or plain form.
Example: read it and mark the connection.
Contrast: ので vs から, のに vs ても.
Output
Write one sentence about yourself per pattern.
Make comparison cards for patterns you get wrong.
FAQ
Grammar with vocabulary?
Yes; grammar gives vocabulary sentences, vocabulary gives grammar content.
Should I memorize examples?
Read them until you can swap the key words.
