Spaced Repetition and the Forgetting Curve
The forgetting curve shows memory decays over time; reviewing just before you forget is most efficient. After each successful recall, stretch the interval (1 to 3 to 7 to 14 to 30 to 60 to 120 days); a failure resets to short-term.
How intervals work
Again: back to box 0, tomorrow.
Hard: keep the box and current interval.
Good: advance one box and stretch the interval.
Daily plan
Start with 5 to 20 new cards and 10 to 50 reviews a day, then adjust.
Streaks matter more than long sessions; ten minutes a day is enough.
FAQ
Can I change intervals?
This tool uses fixed 1/3/7/14/30/60/120-day intervals; the plan controls daily counts.
What if I miss a day?
Due cards pile up; work through them in order, not hundreds at once.
